Our core values serve as a framework to improve Procura’s impact on employees, clients and society:

Procura Values Matrix

Our values are founded upon:

  • MCA Consulting Excellence Principles

  • UN Sustainable Development Goals

Our people must have a sense of security, fulfilment and purpose in their jobs. We must support the physical and mental health of our employees within and outside of our workplace.

  • Mental Health Awareness Week 2021 –
  • Fitness Feb 2021 – In the midst of winter and national lockdowns we ran a company-wide steps challenge to encourage our team to get active! The winner with a massive 398,332 steps was rewarded with a personal shoutout from Paul Chuckle
  • Private Health & Dental Insurance – We offer private health and dental insurance to all our full-time colleagues (and their families) to help safeguard their wellbeing
  • Cycle Scheme – Procura is a member of the Cycle Scheme to offer support for employees who want to improve their physical and mental health by swapping short car journeys for cycling
  • International Travel Insurance – We offer international travel insurance to all of our full-time consultants (and their families) for both work and personal travel

As a global company, Procura is responsible to both the communities in which we live and work, as well as the wider world.

Our commitment is to act as outstanding citizens, by supporting charitable causes and using our resource and expertise to help those in need to enact positive change.

We aim to advance diversity and inclusion throughout our business by celebrating differences and ensuring that we enable our employees to realise the value that their different physicality’s, cultures and walks of life may bring.

We are devoted to instilling a sense of belonging in our employees and ensuring that our company culture and the service we provide to clients is equal, open and inclusive.

We recognise the climate crisis and have committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2022. We aim to achieve this by proactively working with our suppliers, using resources more responsibly and, for emissions we cannot avoid, carbon offsetting.

We are striving to understand and reduce any other environmental impacts of our business and supply chain.

  • Carbon Positive Workforce – Thanks to our partnership with Ecologi, Procura’s workforce has become climate positive, meaning that we offset not only our business travel carbon emissions but our employee’s personal emissions as well. • Sustainable Procurement Service – We believe we can have the greatest impact by helping our clients make procurement decisions that consider environmental sustainability, this is why we have developed our Sustainable Procurement service
  • Home Office Emissions Campaign – With home working becoming commonplace, we have started a scheme to encourage our employees to make environmentally sustainable changes at home. The Home Office Emissions competition challenges our employees to make more sustainable lifestyle choices outside of work.
  • We are members of the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council and are Sustainable Procurement Pledge ambassadors.

We believe our first responsibility is to our clients, we must strive for consulting excellence.

This means we must; deliver the outcomes clients seek and need, be transparent, respond to their concerns and always strive to improve the value we can deliver.

The quality of our work depends on the skills and knowledge of our people. We are committed to developing their capabilities with in house and external coaching and training.

We strive to create a supportive environment for development at all levels with closely-knit project teams, 1:1 mentoring and quarterly company get togethers.

We promote based on ability and not time in service. This principle gives our people the opportunity to accelerate their career at Procura.

  • Continuous Professional Development – Our people have structured six-monthly objectives and appraisals. For consultants, this includes client delivery, client feedback, practice development, technical development, procurement development and business development.
  • CIPS Qualifications – We encourage, and fully fund, external development such as study towards Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) qualification for all of our consultants.
  • CMI Professional Consulting Qualification – We ensure all our Consultants have the opportunity to take the Level 7 Professional Consulting from the Chartered Management Institute and Institute of Consulting
  • APM Project Management Qualification – We ensure all of our Managers have the opportunity to take the Association For Project Management, Project Manager Qualification
